I seriously LOVE this series! Very easy read, so entertaining, sassy and fun!

*SPOILERS AHEAD*
Mwahahaha! Lucas, you stupid jerk, you got what you deserved! Seriously, I despise this guy, I couldn't see what Secret was seeing in him and her staying in the relationship with him was something I would call temporary insanity. Talk about two people so totally wrong for each other...
Keeping Secret is important growing-up step for the main heroine. She is reconnecting with the family at last, and hey, her uncle was awesome. He saw way more than she did and gave great advice. She deals with her werewolf heritage, finds out about her great-grandmother and her siblings and clears up where she stands with Desmond and Holden. Kind of.
Holden is the one who basks in spotlight in this book. Did anyone notice that his cheekiness is very similar to Eric Northman's? No? Yes? When attempts on Secret's life do not cease, Holden is ordered to keep and eye on her and protect her. So, when our girl goes to visit her uncle, Holden follows her.
The time Secret spends away from The Council politics searching for her sister at her uncle's request and her stint in swamps of Louisiana made me howl with laughter *pun intended*, it was sooo good!
I hope you all drop what you're reading this instance and read Secret McQueen instead! These books are a great example of fun, lighthearted urban fantasy, and they are not to be missed.
