Egalley thanks to Griffyn InkI hope you downloaded this book when it was offered as a free read on Amazon. No? It's still under £2 on Kindle, so I suggest you buy it, because God's Eye is amazing.
Not for the faint-hearted or impatient readers, this is a slow, fascinating unravelling of one woman, who is forced to question everything she lives for and finds herself wanting.
There is an angel and a demon in her life battling for her soul, but like me you would never guess who is who. You are constantly forced to doubt their every motive and change your mind and second guess yourself, A.J.Scudiere is that good.
God's Eye is a creepy, unexpectedly steamy and deeply mysterious read, and it drives its point home perfectly: we can not compromise and simply go with the flow if we are not happy with our life choices, we have to fight for what we think is right.
The angels and demons are not as visual as we're used to in paranormals, but more elusive, haunting, metaphysical beings. This book is a puzzle, and I'm still not sure what I got in the end out of it, but I know for sure that the impact was profound. I had to sit and digest it. Not many books do that to me anymore.
Overall, highly recommended.
